No severe thunderstorms are expected through the end of the work week as a cold weather pattern dominates east of the Rockies.
This weekend, a developing storm system will increase the risk for thunderstorms as milder air and moisture move northward into the South. The best chance for thunderstorms appears to be Saturday from eastern Texas and northwest Louisiana to parts of Arkansas, western Tennessee and northern Mississippi.
